植松伸夫氏が企画したゲーム作曲家オムニバスCD「Ten Plants」とは？

今は、他社間の交流は普通のことですが、まだ副業がOPENでなかった時代、ライバル会社として競合している中、枠を取っ払うということは大変難しかったのです。参加アーティストは会社と雇用契約を結んでいたため、各々が交渉し壁を乗り越えて集まったと思います。

和みの解釈

このアルバムのテーマは「和み」で、それさえおさえていれば自由に作って良いと言われていました。とはいえ案外とそれが難しく私達はとりあえず、ノーアイデアのままスタジオを借りてセッションしてみることにしました。当時ラブデリックがあった原宿の近くにある練習スタジオで、工藤太郎（ドラム）、谷口博史（キーボード）、安達（ギター）、ベースはmoonの背景グラフィックを描いている上田晃でフリーセッションを繰り返し、４リズムをベースにストリングスカルテットとブラス・セクションをオーバーダビングし、vocalにスリープウォークを迎えて完成したのがKARINAです。十人十色、それぞれの「和み」曲が集まり、とてもユニークなアルバムになったと思います。
